The complete 1911 census of Ireland is currently available online at www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ From this website, all the original census return forms (which were filled out by the head of each household on the census night) can be viewed. Additionally, all the information within the census return forms has been digitised and placed into a searchable on-line database.
Papers Past (at paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast) contains a large number of digitised New Zealand newspapers and periodicals from the years 1839 to 1932. These newspapers contain a large amount of Irish local news. Give a search for your local town or village at the link above, and you might be surprised in what you find.
